Author and Actuary Peter Neuwirth, FSA, FCA: Since graduating from Harvard with a degree in mathematics and linguistics in 1979, Peter Neuwirth has held actuary leadership positions at consulting firms including Aon, Hewitt Associates, Watson Wyatt Towers, Perrin, and Towers Watson. He also ran the actuarial firm Coates Kenney and spent a year at Price Waterhouse. Currently a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, Pete regularly consults with the largest corporations in the world about their retirement plans with a focus on time risk and money. “These fundamental concepts shape our world,” explains Pete, who is a sought-after speaker for professional conferences and is frequently quoted in national mainstream and trade publications.

Hope Katz Gibbs, director of communications: Hope is the president of Inkandescent PR + Publishing Co., a soup-to-nuts firm that she founded in 2008, and is proud to help entrepreneurs get the visibility they need. Hope has been a journalist since graduating from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. She has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from George Washington University and has been helping small business owners. She publishes online magazines, including Inkandescent Women magazine and BeInkandescent Health & Wellness magazine. Her podcast network is Inkandescent Radio, and the videos her firm produces can be found on Inkandescent.tv. Hope’s first book is PR Rules: The Playbook.

Gabriel Guptill, executive assistant: Gabriel lives in Santa Rosa, CA, and provides an array of organizational and technical assistance for Pete and other San Francisco Bay Area business executives. Gabe holds a B.A. in Political Science from Sonoma State University and is currently studying for a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
